Approach: I like to take an eclectic approach to therapy, incorporating multiple techniques and strategies. I believe utilizing a client-centered approach gives clients the opportunity to decide what to explore and how, while taking into consideration their background, personality, and environments. Working with K-12 students who have emotional impairments and seeing some of my own family members struggle with mental health has inspired me to further my education, studying Clinical Mental Health with a concentration in Art Therapy.

Approach: I believe that no two clients are the same. What works for one client may not work for the other, so being adaptive is key. Personal Statement: I was in the education field for over 12 years, working with students and families who struggled with learning disabilities, such as ADHD, cognitive disorders, emotional impairments, autism, etc. I developed the desire to do more than teach and studied psychology and therapy for years.
